Americans seem to like the idea of purchasing using their tablet devices. The rate of mobile buyer penetration is higher among American tablet users than American smartphone users. In 2015, an estimated proportion of 72% tablet users shopped online using their mobile devices, the figure for smartphone users stood at 43%. It is expected that by 2019, there will be more than 80% of tablet users shopping online using their tablets.
